Cuz I Was Meant To Be A Psychologist (Only Not)

In the dead of night in my boredom, I came up with this list. I've tried it on a few people....tell me if it works.

What's your favourite season? I think that your favourite season has alot to do with your personality:

Spring
You are a cheerful person at heart
You enjoy meeting new people and making new friends
You are optimistic about things in life
You give hope to those who need it
You are open to new ideas
You are profoundly creative
You make the most of your experiences
You might enjoy leading, but you'll back off in the prescence of a strong leader.
Your lighthearted personality cools down heated situations, and people enjoy being around you

Summer
You enjoy the outdoors
You have a warm personality
You are fun loving
You dislike being alone because you're a bit of an extrovert
You really apreciate freedom
You like to be flexible because you're always picking a new path
Your moods change quickly
You dislike routine
You have lively intelligence

Autumn
There's more to you than meets the eye
You have an introspective personality
You are most likely to be known for your artistic or musical ablities
You are a bit sensitive but are wise enough to make wise choices
You have a homeward bend and like to have a pace that centers and grounds you
You are warm and welcoming to an extent
You enjoy having others around you, but you also need your space
You like to work hard, but you also value your downtime
You enjoy having time to yourself just to enjoy life

Winter
You are an intelligent and likeable person
You are not very extroverted and can take time for you to make new friends
You enjoy chilling and just doing nothing
You don't get scared easily by crisis and can handle any problem calmly
You are thoughtful about life
You are both practical and courageous
You don't go around looking for chalenges, but when they come you're happy to take them on
You refuse to give in when you're set on a goal
You have quiet undying determination and aren't swayed easily by your emotions

So what do you think? Could I be a shrink? haha

Thank God For Thanksgiving!

I composed a list of things that I'm thankful for. After all, it's thanksgiving!

(This is a list of unusual things I'm thankful for, but the obvious things like family and Jesus I decided not to put on this.)

10.

It's smooth and lovely. It also shows that God can take something horrible like beer bottles, and turn them into something beautiful...like sea glass.

9.

Doesn't this remind you of "Tangled"? It's an actual picture...FROM THAILAND!!! It would be AMAZING to see this in real life. What are these gorgeous orbs of radiant light? Rice Paper and Fire.

8.

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...It's about learning how to dance in the rain."
I don't know who's quote that is, but I love it. I can't dance...but I love the rain. haha, Ironically, we live in the desert.

7.

My Big Toe....haha yeaaaahhhh I'm not posting a picture of my feet because I think feet are UGLY! But if you look closely at the bottom of my shoes, I wear out the area where my big toe is first. Without my big toe, I wouldn't be able to stand, walk, run, jump, etc.

6.

Alright, you knew it was coming....IRELAND. 'Nuff said.

5.

This is a picture of my friends and I at the happiest place on earth. Nooooo not disneyland...IRONWOOD!!! BEST. SUMMER CAMP. EVAR. I'm gonna miss it next summer :(

4.

WEDDINGS!!!!! I love weddings :)

3.

This is a picture of my ukulele. I love music. I love singing. Praise the Lord for music!!

2.

I'm thankful for Les Miserables. Loved the book. Loved the movie. Loved the musical.

1.

Okay here's another nerd photo with a bunch of my favourite people. I know, I know! I said I wasn't going to post anything obvious....BUT I AM SOOOOOOO THANKFUL FOR MY FRIENDS!!! :)

God Bless Ya, and have a Happy Thanksgiving!!

French Revolution Festival

I apologize I haven't been posting as frequently as I could...however, I have 3 good excuses:

1. I had an infinite amount of homework.

2. I had a gazillion projects I had to finish.

3. (I don't have a third, but I think two is sufficient haha)

What I've Been Up To:

My co-op was studying the French revolution. At the end of the study, we had a ball.

What I'm wearing:

A split front, georgian era gown, with a lace-up front. It was made from an unwanted curtain.

A drawstring underdress. It was made from a gorgeous satin bedsheet.

My hair was sprayed and teased until it looked like a wig.

HOWEVER.
The dress was rather heavy, and the haircombs were giving me a headache.....

I ditched the heavy overdress and added a gold ribbon...VOILA! A different look!

Here I am with two lovely little ladies!

All in all, it was a GRAND night :)

Sewing Frenzy

I finally finished my bedsheet dress. Pictures will be up soon :)

In my co-op we studied the french revolution. Our festival for this semester is "French Revolution/Revolutionary war" themed. (Basically the 1780-90s)

This of course means more sewing for me....
My mother found an old curtain that measures 47" by 6 yards. I'm aiming for something like this:

Only not so....elaborate..........and immodest......

Verse Of The Day

Romans 6:4
We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

I must memorize this verse by the weeks end. It's a good one :)

Until then:

Nerd Day at Konos

Well in case you haven't heard, I'm homeschooled...this is me:

I admit it. I am a socially challenged, academically advanced child...no...not really.

Actually, this was nerd day at Konos. Konos is this super-amazingly-fantastic Co-op I go to on
fridays.

Co-op: A place where homeschooled children gather to learn from other such children's mothers and/or teachers

What I'm Wearing:

Glasses: $5 in Utah. They formulate intelligence where there is none.
Cardiagn: $7 at Old Navy. It keeps my nerdy arms warm.
Tank Top: $6 at Target. Pastels galore. Muy nerdy.
I am also wearing a teal pencil skirt and penny loafers.
Some people said I looked like a Mom from the 50s. ha. ha.

The writing on my arm is because I had to take notes in class, and I forgot my notebooks :P

Maybe it's bad that for my first homeschooled photo I used one of me dressed like a nerd?

I give homeschoolers a bad name :(

And the verse of the week is:

Romans 1:16 ~For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes...

About Me

I think that's the most conceited title I could ever use, but it's true...
About me:

I hate "guy-liner"

I honestly don't understand why you'd pay 5 bucks at coldstone for a cookies and creme milkshake...it's just oreos and ice cream....

Speaking of which, I eat the filling out of the oreos first.

and the heads off of animal crackers...

I am addicted to coffee, and I HAVE NEVER LET DECAF TOUCH MY LIPS.

I love dressing up

My favourite book in the Bible is James

My favourite Bible Character is John

I spell like a brit.

I sew

I knit

I crochet

I have too much free time on my hands

nix that.

I spend too much time doing other things when I should be doing school

It's a good thing I'm homeschooled, because then it doesn't matter how many hours I put into school as long as I learn.

PET PEEVE: Poorly applied mascara. (are those your eyelashes, or black tarantulas?)

.....THE END.

JJ Heller and Her Amazing Voice

Last weekend my Mum had the opportunity to hear JJ Heller sing live. When she came back, she showed me this wonderful song!

I really like the way JJ sings this. Maybe someday I'll sing this at church.

Steve Jobs is dead.

Let me just say that this came as a huge shock to me!! Gosh Mr. Steve, why did you have to die? You created the iPod, the device that holds all of my contacts, pictures, and apps. :( Hopefully you had Jesus in your life, but if not....... :'(

Moving On:

I guess you're probably wondering what I look like...

This is me on a good day.
Along with a nice green elfin hat that I completed in a few hours. I love green. :)

Verse of the day:

Psalm 107:29

He calms the storm,
So that its waves are still.
Then they are glad because they are quiet;
So He guides them to their desired haven.

This just gives me this sense of peace... I really like this verse.
